Your hosts Elsabe and Hans Strydom will go out of their way to ensure that you have a comfortable stay.

Elsabe loves to prepare interesting dishes for breakfast and dinner and our French guest, Phillipe, gave us the compliment of the best meals in Middelburg.

Some of our guests come for 6 weeks and then stay up to seven months. To them Woodpecker is like a second home. Our guests do return even after 2 years, like Gert and his wife from Germany on their next visit to South Africa.
