Aliwal Dive Centre is a PADI 5 star instructor development centre with an on-site dive lodge. All our training from PADI open water is done in our fully equipped classroom and 4m deep heated, salt water swimming pool.

We launch our boats to the famous Aliwal Shoal which is classed as one of the top ten dive sites in the world and are also one of the pioneers in the baited shark dives. Aliwal Shoal caters for the open water diver through to instructor where dive sites are concerned. As a Sharklife partner we are also able to teach all Sharklife courses to enable you to become a master shark diver.

Our on-site lodge has double en-suite rooms which are sea facing with their own balcony, bar fridge, safe, ceiling fan, air conditioner, hospitality tray and the prices include breakfast. Our dorm rooms are en-suite with bunk beds and have their own balcony and ceiling fan, the prices for this room also includes breakfast.

Other facilities at the centre are wireless internet, laundry, bar, lunch menu, Baz Bus drop off and pick up point and many more. We are within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a 2 minute walk down to the beach. The distance from Durban to us is approximately a 45 minute drive and from the airport a 30 minute drive. We look forward to welcoming you.
